We are currently organising a charity abseil to raise money for a communication aid called a ‘Tobii C12’ This product costs in excess of £12,000. Our Target will be somewhere in the region of £14,000 to cover the costs of the event also.
This communication aid will give Dylan the voice he has never had.
There will always be hurdles in Dylan’s life to climb, the bigger they are the higher WE will jump! (Or dive in this case!!)
As most people who have had any dealings with the health care service will know, resources’ are very limited, making applications for what are considered ‘non essential’ items carry a very long delay, meaning in excess of 2 years… and the rest!
With your help, we can raise this money through kind donations and amazing volunteers, and give Dylan every opportunity we can to allow him to have the life he truly deserves
With the help of some amazing friends, we may just achieve this. Dylan is an incredible child, and all I can ever ask for is that he is happy. He is happy, but my God, this could be life changing, no longer will I be the voice saying “he doesn’t like that” he will be able to say “NO, I DON’T LIKE THAT” for himself! Independence isn’t always doing itfor yourself, it’s having the ability to tell others how to do things for you, and getting it right first time!
With Communication that is understood by everybody, opens doors to a future that could only be dreamed of. WE WILL ACHIEVE THIS! WE HAVE TO!
We will stop accepting donations as soon as our target is reached, and any additional money raised above what we need for the Tobii C12 will be donated to charity.
